Argentine President Javier Milei will not attend the peace summit in Switzerland on June 15-16th, La Nacion reports.

During the continuation of calls and diplomatic consultations, it was confirmed that the president (of Argentina - ed.) will not attend the peace summit in Ukraine, on June 15-16th in Switzerland, where he was invited by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

As the agency notes, Miley will not be the only one absent from the summit.

“Various countries, such as China and Brazil, have said they will not attend because Russia has not been invited,” the article says.

Peace summit in Switzerland

On June 15-16, a peace summit will be held in Switzerland. In total, Switzerland and Ukraine have invited 160 states to the peace summit, but only 106 of them have confirmed their participation in the meeting so far.

At the same time, Switzerland has suggested that Russia will have the opportunity to participate in a conference following the peace summit.

Russia's absence at the summit was the reason for China's refusal to participate in the event. Read more about who refuses to participate in the peace summit and why in RBC-Ukraine's report.
