“The player said to me that the two strongest players he’s played against pound-for-pound are Sterling and Saka. Sterling is very quick as well, but he was always known as the stongest player in the league pound-for-pound.”
Saka has bulked up
It’s somewhat surprising to hear that Saka is one of the strongest players in the Premier League these days.
Of course, we all remember Saka as being a teenager who hadn’t filled out, but these days, the 22-year-old has really bulked up and he’s much stronger.
He doesn’t quite have a hulking figure in the way some players do, but he knows how to use his body well, and he’s very tough to shrug off the ball.
Saka is no pushover these days, and this added strength makes him an even scarier player than he already was.
