16 clashes ongoing along Russia-Ukraine frontline, General Staff

Since the beginning of the day, 34 combat classes have taken place on the Russia-Ukraine frontline. The Russian military is most active in the Pokrovsk sector, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

Situation in the sectors

The enemy became more active in the Kupiansk sector. Since the beginning of the day, six firefights have taken place in the areas of Synkivka, Pishchane, and Druzhelyubivka. Two enemy assault actions are still ongoing near Hrekivka.

In the Lyman sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled three offensives near Terny, Torske, and Serebryansky forest. The enemy continues to attack in the areas of Novosadove and Yampil.

In the Pokrovsk sector, the enemy maintains a high intensity of assault operations. Since the beginning of the day, Russians have tried to improve the tactical situation near Novooleksandrivka, Yevhenivka, Sokil, and Yasnobrodivka 11 times. Eight attacks are currently ongoing.

In the Kurakhove sector, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled three attacks near Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, and Paraskoviivka. Three more firefights are ongoing.

In the Orikhiv sector, Russians twice tried to push Ukrainian units near Robotyne. One battle is still ongoing.

Situation at the front

According to the General Staff, yesterday, June 6, Ukrainian soldiers eliminated another 1,080 Russian soldiers over the course of a day. In total, Russia has already lost about 516 thousand personnel in the war.
