A police search of a property in Chatteris was no laughing matter as officers uncovered a haul of a class C drug.
Fenland police posted about the find made at a house in Westbourne Road, yesterday (Thursday) on their Facebook page.
They said: “We found 60 nitrous oxide canisters, also known as laughing gas, while searching a property in Westbourne Road, Chatteris, yesterday.
“Under new legislation, these are now classed as a class C drug, so they have all been seized.
“If you have any concerns or information around drug use or dealing, you can report it to us online.”
