Donald Trump's former White House chief of staff, Mark Meadows, was arraigned in Arizona Friday for his role in the plot to overthrow the 2020 election.

Meadows joined the court via video chat with Michael "Mike" Roman, a former member of Trump's 2020 campaign team who was also allegedly involved. Both men are also part of the sprawling racketeering case in Fulton County, Georgia.

Meadows and Roman both face nine felony counts along with 16 other co-defendants indicted by the grand jury in April. Meadows pleaded not guilty.
