Arsenal are now running out of time to sign £34m striker ahead of Chelsea and Man Utd

Arsenal have been linked with a number of strikers this summer, but they will have to move quickly before one of their long-term targets becomes unavailable.

RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko appears to be Arsenal’s priority, but they do have other options in mind, and both Chelsea and Manchester United are also in the race for some of them.

Sesko has a choice between the three rival clubs this summer, and given the current position of all three, it would be a shock if he picks anywhere but the Emirates and Mikel Arteta.

Another striker also faces a similar choice, as all three rivals have registered an interest in Bologna attacker Joshua Zirkzee, but they will have to act quickly as a move to AC Milan is otherwise on the cards.

Arsenal target Joshua Zirkzee could move to AC Milan soon

A report from GIVEMESPORT has now revealed that Zirkzee could be set to move to Serie A giants AC Milan, and if Arsenal are keen on signing him, they will have to make their move soon.

“Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea have all been told that it is now or never if they want to sign Zirkzee. AC Milan are closing in on the signing of the striker, the report revealed.

“Agents are now letting the English trio know that it is last chance saloon if they are to make a move for the former Anderlecht man, and they must step forward if they are to have any chance of attaining their man – otherwise he will be making the short trip north to the San Siro.”

Zirkzee reportedly has an asking price of around £34m, making him a cheaper option than Sesko, but whilst the Dutchman is a top prospect who would add a lot to Arteta’s side, Arsenal should focus on Sesko instead.

The Leipzig star scored 14 times in 17 Bundesliga starts, compared to Zirkzee’s return of 11 in 32 Serie A starts this season.

Whilst Zirkzee offers more than just goals, as a technically gifted target man, Arsenal already have Kai Havertz thriving upfront, but a sharpshooter like Sesko, who can produce goals out of nowhere, will be of more use to Arteta than another pure back-to-goal forward.

Arsenal will likely keep an eye on Zirkzee’s progress should he move to Milan, but for now their focus needs to be on Sesko instead.
