Watch Joe Hart's superb final Instagram farewell message to Celtic supporters

Joe Hart has sent out a video message to the entire Celtic family as he embarks on the next stage of his footballing life.

The retired goalkeeper ended his career in superb fashion, winning seven trophies across three seasons at the Bhoys.

That all culminated in a Scottish Cup Final win over Rangers at Hampden last month, kickstarting a summer of celebration as double winners.

Hart has absolutely loved his time in Glasgow, something again made abundantly clear in his latest address to supporters.

Taking to Instagram, Hart released a video – embedded below – thanking everyone at the club and all of the fans for giving him a chance to relish the final years of his playing career.

Hart will be a Celtic fan ‘forever’

Hart states that the recent ovation he got at Celtic Park was one of the greatest days of his life and that he’ll be a Celtic supporter forever.

He also acknowledges that while he had his ups and downs over his three years at the club, most importantly he helped the club attain seven trophies.

The 37-year-old is now about to embark on a new punditry and media career, first taking on the challenge of this summer’s EURO 2024 tournament with the BBC.

Hart said this week: “It’s not just TV because I also feel I can give something back on the content side. I do feel I want to give back and I don’t necessarily feel coaching is for me.

“This is something that really appeals to me. It will be great to be back with Micah Richards. I’ve worked with Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer before and it’s an exciting line-up. I’m really looking forward to working with them.”

Celtic have another fantastic representative out there in the media and it’ll be a joy to watch his content ambitions unfold. The smart money is on him being a success in that field, too.
