Training of Ukrainian pilots on Mirage 2000 to begin in coming days - Macron

France will start training Ukrainian pilots to fly Mirage 2000 aircraft in the coming days, stated French President Emmanuel Macron during a joint press conference with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The French President emphasized that he would not disclose any new details about the delivery of Mirage 2000 fighter jets to Ukraine, including the number of planned deliveries.

"The priority is to start training pilots and mechanics. This is something that will be launched in the coming days in France. It will take place on our territory,” the French president added.

Yesterday, June 6, Macron announced the transfer of Mirage 2000 fighters to Ukraine as part of military assistance. But the French president did not disclose any details.
