An unknown person attacked the Prime Minister of Denmark, Mette Frederiksen, while she was at one of the squares in Copenhagen, according to a statement from the office of the Danish government.
According to the department, an unknown man hit Frederiksen while she was at Kultorvet Square.
The office of the Danish government did not disclose further details.
Meanwhile, according to Denmark's Minister of Environment Magnus Heunicke, the Prime Minister is shocked by such an attack.
Assassination attempt on Fico
On May 15, an unknown assailant shot at Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico. Several bullets wounded the head of the Slovak government, and he was urgently hospitalized.
Fico underwent several surgeries and is now on the way to recovery. Recently, he made his first statement after the assassination attempt.
