Ukraine has already received two decisions from its partners on the supply of air defense equipment. But there will be more decisions, according to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba.

"I can't talk about it (the supply of weapons - ed.). But the president is working, this was also a key topic yesterday. We are working, the military is working, everyone is working. Over the past two months, we have turned the world upside down to find a solution,” Kuleba said.

He recalled that one solution already exists - supplying the Patriot battery from Germany.

"There was also a decision on the Italian SAMP/T system in the public space. And there will be more decisions,” the Foreign Minister said.

Air defense for Ukraine

The issue of air defense supplies has always been a priority for Ukraine. But when Russia intensified its attacks with drones and missiles, Ukraine felt a shortage of equipment.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy called on partners to provide Ukraine with modern air defense systems, including Patriot and SAMP/T, capable of shooting down ballistic missiles.

Germany announced the transfer of an additional Patriot battery to Ukraine. Italy has also recently announced that it would provide SAMP/T air defense systems.
