It’s almost that time…
In just a couple of hours, Kentucky baseball will take the diamond at Kentucky Proud Park as the two-seeded Bat Cats host the program’s first-ever Super Regional. On deck is the Oregon State Beavers, which received the No. 15 overall seed and swept through its regional round.
KSR’s Daniel Hager is already on location at KPP as he prepares to bring us immediate coverage of tonight’s opener. First pitch is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. EST on ESPNU. Fans are already packed outside of the stadium waiting to get in. A spot in the Men’s College World Series (never been done before in Kentucky history) is waiting on the other side of this three-game series.
Ahead of tonight’s showdown, Daniel gave us his pregame thoughts on the matchup and his prediction for the series. Spoiler: he’s feeling good about a trip to Omaha.
