Jack Grealish sends three-word response after Stefan Ortega contract announcement

Jack Grealish has shared a message on social media in response to the news of Stefan Ortega’s contract extension at Manchester City.

Earlier today, it was announced that the German has extended his contract at the Manchester club until the summer of 2026.

Speaking to the club after the news broke, Ortega said this about his decision to sign his extension.

He said: I am delighted to be staying at Manchester City for longer. This is a football club that provides players with everything we need to be our best. Every single day I feel motivated and challenged, and I have improved as a goalkeeper since coming here two years ago.

“My family are really settled here in England. I love everything about it here. Signing this deal means I can now focus 100% on next season and beyond.”

Shortly after this news was shared, it quickly caught the attention of another player in the City squad, who couldn’t help but share his reaction.

He said: “What a man.”

Grealish’s message shows how much of a strong teammate he is

This message shows just how much Grealish likes the 31-year-old.

Having recently been cut from the final England squad for the upcoming European Championship in Germany, it’s nice to see the winger sharing this positive message to Ortega after his contract extension.

Also, having only started 26 of the 36 games he appeared in across all competitions in a City shirt this season, which the 28-year-old admitted to being a tough one for him, the fact that he’s sent this message in response to Ortega’s announcement highlights what sort of character Grealish is.
