'I think we can': Jamie O'Hara predicts where Tottenham Hotspur will finish next season

Jamie O’Hara has predicted where Tottenham Hotspur will finish in the Premier League next season.

The North Londoners enjoyed a positive season last term and made clear progression in Ange Postecoglou’s first season in charge.

Spurs finished fifth and returned to European football playing an attractive brand of football and there is a belief that they’re only a couple of additions away from bridging the gap on the top four.

That said, here’s what O’Hara had to say.

Jamie O’Hara predicts Tottenham to finish in the top four

Speaking to Sky Sports, former Spurs midfielder O’Hara seemed optimistic about the North Londoners’ prospects next season.

“I think next season, I’m excited for Spurs, Daniel Levy’s got to sign some decent players, we know that,” the 37-year-old said.

“The squad players aren’t good enough, you need to keep trying to shift them aside and I think Ange is trying to do that.

O’Hara continued: “I think we should try and get Eze, try and get Conor Gallagher from Chelsea, players who are doing it in the Premier League.

“I think if you add them to the squad, I think we can (finish) top four and try and win a trophy.”

Striker should be the priority

O’Hara mentioned two midfielders as the signings to take Spurs up a notch, however, a striker has to be the main priority.

They never really replaced Harry Kane last summer and with Richarlison a possible departure this window, it will become pretty apparent that a striker is needed.

Perhaps Spurs should consider Feyenoord’s Santiago Giminez, who netted 26 goals last term or Dominic Solanke.

The Bournemouth number nine has a £65m release clause.
