"This award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team who strive every day to create a welcoming atmosphere for new and local guests,” said landlord, Gavin Rees.

“We are always deeply grateful to our loyal customers who have supported us over the years and made our pub a beloved community hub.

“The award has inspired us to continue raising the bar and offer a fantastic experience for every single person that walks through our doors.”

“We are absolutely over the moon to receive the award after a tough time through Covid,” said Letitia Slade, who manages the pub’s marketing and social media.

“We opened our doors for a short three days before having to close again due to another lockdown.

“During that time we only offered takeaway, and after making our way through the ordeal, we almost had to start from scratch again.”

She added: “We are so pleased with how The Ibex is today, and look forward to continuing to grow and welcoming new and local guests.”

All winners are featured in a celebratory awards magazine, published both online and in print, which is circulated to Prestige subscribers.

The pub previously won the West Berkshire CAMRA Community Pub award.

The Prestige Awards was launched to celebrate the businesses and individuals that consistently provide excellent products and services to residents and tourists alike.
