Friends, family and even dogs were out enjoying the sun at a street food and music festival.
Making its debut last year, The Medway Food and Drink Festival returned to the grounds of the historic Rochester Castle this weekend.

There were street food stalls, bars, summer cocktails served in fruit bowls, artisan baked goods, produce sourced from in and around Kent and live entertainment.
There was also a series of live cooking demonstrations from the likes of African food expert Maria Bradford, Japanese chef Madoka from Chatham’s Petit Roll and Ian Waghorn, founder of healthy catering company Bear N Mind.
Although most visitors had come for the food and drink, bands performed across the three days on the outdoor main stage.

Acts included classic rockers Big River, covers band the LKG Trio and eight-piece soul group Loose Change.
There was plenty to keep children entertained with storytime sessions from children’s author Suzan Ruben-Alderton and puppet shows, comedy acts, magic and balloon modelling from variety group Froggle Parties.
Many youngsters were also queuing for face painting and fairground rides.
