Mississippi Man Sentenced To Life For Gruesome Murder Saying He Thought They “Could Put Him Back Together”

Clint Brower, 45 (HCJ)

A Mississippi man was sentenced to life in prison last week after pleading guilty to the first-degree murder of victim Micah Harrington.

Clint Brower, 45, of Biloxi, committed the gruesome crime in May 2020 at a laundromat.

According to reports, Brower, who was also doing laundry at the time, claimed he felt threatened by Harrington's movements. Brower then retrieved a butcher knife from his bag and stabbed Harrington over 30 times, even severing one of his arms.

In a chilling confession, Brower admitted to the court, "I took the knife, and I killed him."

According to WLOX, he also revealed that he moved Harrington's body outside the laundromat, believing the nearby Beau Rivage Casino "could put him back together."

Brower's attorney stated that his client had a history of mental illness, and his family had tried to get him help.

However, despite being taken into custody on the day of the murder for an unrelated charge, Brower was released back to the RV park where both he and the victim lived.

The victim's daughter, Micara Harrington, shared the devastating impact of her father's death, according to the outlet.

They had recently reconnected and planned to live together in a camper her father had purchased.

"I spent my whole life wanting to live with my dad, then the moment it was about to happen, it got taken away from me," she lamented.

Brower expressed remorse in court, stating he was "truly sorry" and that the incident was "beyond my control."

However, his apology could not undo the tragic loss of Micah Harrington's life.
