However, it remains unclear what specific educational experiences of the Taliban have garnered interest from the Russian Ministry of Education and the government of Tatarstan.
Since assuming power in 2021, the Taliban has notably prevented Afghan girls from accessing secondary education and higher learning opportunities.

Furthermore, they have enforced a ban on women attending universities or working as educators.
“Women are also prohibited from leaving their homes without wearing a burqa and are restricted from accessing public spaces like parks, swimming pools, and gyms. Adulterous women face the threat of public stoning,” journalists noted.

Earlier, Russian authorities had extended a similar invitation to the Taliban as honored guests to the “International Economic Forum” in St. Petersburg.
