There are currently three Russian large amphibious assault ships and three small missile ships, including the Buyan-M project, in the Sea of Azov.
“But the information about the damage is not yet true,” Pletenchuk added.
A Ukrainian military source told the newspaper that the vessel was allegedly the fifth of seven Ropucha-type landing craft to be sunk or “disabled” by Ukrainian Armed Forces.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as of June 10, Russians lost 28 ships and boats in total.
