Shelling of Kherson: 102-year-old woman injured

Russian forces once again struck Kherson on Monday, June 10. A 102-year-old woman was injured as a result of the shelling, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

As reported, when the patrol officers went to assist, Russian forces launched a second strike.

Together with local residents, law enforcement managed to transport the injured woman to a police vehicle and take her to the hospital. She is currently receiving necessary medical assistance.

Russian forces attack Kherson daily after the Ukrainian Armed Forces regained control of the city in the autumn of 2022.

On June 8, Russian troops dropped an explosive device from a drone on an ambulance in the Kherson region. As a result of the enemy attack, two people were injured.
