On the night of June 10, the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a missile attack on a Russian military object in the temporarily occupied Dzhankoy. Journalists published satellite images of the aftermath of the attack, according to Radio Liberty.

This morning, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that the Ukrainian military had hit a Russian S-400 anti-aircraft missile battalion in Dzhankoy.
However, journalists note that the quality of the satellite images does not allow determining the exact type of the damaged equipment. At the same time, it is clear that the object appeared here in May 2024, and later fortifications were also built nearby.
According to military expert Anatolii Khrapchynskyi, the Russian Podlet radar system, which is used in conjunction with the S-300 and S-400, could have been located on the territory of this military object.
Meanwhile, military expert Mykhailo Zhyrokhov believes that there was no point in deploying the radar in this place, and therefore it could have been another military object.
What happened before
On the night of June 10, powerful explosions were heard in several districts of the temporarily occupied Crimea. In particular, explosions were reported in Yevpatoria, in Saky and Dzhankoy districts.
Later, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the Ukrainian Defense Forces had successfully struck one S-400 anti-aircraft missile battalion near Dzhankoy, as well as two S-300 anti-aircraft missile battalions near Chornomorske and Yevpatoria.
