Offensive line is a major priority for Eli Drinkwitz and the Missouri Tigers in the 2025 class, and their list of top targets includes some of the nation’s best trench players.
At or near the top of the board is Mesquite (Texas) Horn four-star offensive lineman Lamont Rogers.
The massive 6-foot-7, 305-pounder has been one of offensive line coach Brandon Jones most important targets this cycle, and the Tigers look to be making a major move with him.
Rogers visited Columbia last weekend and Texas A&M this past weekend. But coming out of that visit, On3’s Steve Wiltfong has logged an expert prediction in the Tigers’ favor.
The nation’s No. 60 overall prospect and No. 12 recruit in Texas, Rogers still has visits to Texas, Oklahoma and Florida State on the docket before the end of the month. But right now, the Tigers hold a significant advantage in the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM) after Wiltfong’s pick.

After a slow start to the the cycle, the momentum for Mizzou kicked off on April 4, as the Tigers beat out Georgia, Penn State and Pitt for Zollers, who also recently earned a five-star ranking as one of the nation’s top quarterbacks.
“My connections at Missouri were just greater than they were anywhere else,” Zollers told On3 upon his commitment.
Since adding the elite gunslinger, the Tigers staff wasted no time adding building blocks around Zollers. Belleville (Ill.) Althoff Catholic three-star defensive lineman Jason Dowell was the next to pledge on April 19. The flood gates opened from there.
Canton (Ohio) McKinley four-star linebacker Dante McClellan and Geismar (La.) Dutchtown three-star EDGE Joshua Lewis each committed on April 22. Eureka (Mo.) four-star offensive tackle Jack Lange — a top-200 overall recruit and the No. 1 prospect in Missouri — followed suit two days later.
“It’s close to home,” Lange told On3. “When I think of what I want in a college town, campus, academics and football, it’s everything that I want and I’m really excited to be a part of it. I’ve been told by Missouri’s coaches that I’m going to be a pillar in this recruiting class. I want to be able to help bring guys in and build this class up to something that’s really special. With me and Matt Zollers, I think we can really turn this thing into something that’s going to be great.”
Saint Louis DeSmet three-star LB Jason King and four-star EDGE Daeden Hopkins rounded out a spectacular month on the trail for the Tigers.
And now after a slight lull in May, Eli Drinkwitz and Co. got back on the board by landing four-star lineman Henry Fenuku, jumping to No. 18 nationally in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.
