The 6-foot, 190-pound Gramstad has played at NAIA power Northwestern in Iowa for the last four seasons. Heled the Raiders to a runner-up finish, falling to Keiser (Fla.) in the national championship game.

Gramstad threw for an NAIA-best 3,681 yards and 35 touchdowns in his first full season as a starter. He completed 67.8 percent of his passes and threw just nine interceptions over 15 games.

He also ran for 772 yards on 182 carries for eight touchdowns. Over his career, Gramstad has 6,237 yards passing and 60 touchdowns, with 1,822 yards rushing and 30 scores on the ground. He’s been voted a three-time captain at Northwestern.

Gramstad’s appearance at the camp surprised Northwestern’s conference rival, Midland University in Fremont, who had multiple coaches working the camp.

Once the Husker staff became aware of Gramstad’s situation, more eyes started to move toward him. Freshman quarterback Dylan Raiola was also present during the workout.

He slipped while running his 40-yard dash, so it did not appear he ran his best time there. However, Gramstad demonstrated elite arm talent, which should not be surprising considering his previous accomplishments.

Gramstad has one season of eligibility remaining. He began his career in 2020 and has seen time in the last three seasons for the Raiders. In 2022, he was named second-team all-conference at quarterback.

After the camp, Gramstad was seen walking back into the weight room area with the Husker coaching staff.

Around 30 to 40 athletes took part in Nebraska’s post-graduate camp.
