Jury Finds Hunter Biden Guilty on All 3 Counts at Gun Trial

A federal jury in Delaware has found Hunter Biden guily of all three counts at his felony trial.

The president's son was charged with three felonies connected to a 2018 purchase of a gun. Prosecutors claimed he lied on a mandatory gun-purchase form by saying he was not illegally using or addicted to drugs.

The jury only took three hours to render the verdict.

Hunter Biden had pleaded not guilty and his defense said there was no evidence he was using drugs in the 11 days that he owned the gun.

He had claimed the Justice Department was pursuing the case against him due to pressure by Congressional Republicans.

Biden did not take the stand in his defense. He avoided cross-examination by chosing not to testify.

A deal with prosecutors fell apart last year after GOP lawmakers claimed he was getting preferential treatment.

First lady Jill Biden and other family member have attended parts of the trial. President Biden has stayed away.

He previously said that he would not pardon his son if found guilty.

Hunter Biden faces another trial on tax charges that is slated to begin in September in California.

This is a developing story and will be updated.
