Report: Leeds are interested in signing eight-goal winger with unbelievable dribbling ability

Leeds United are interested in signing an eight-goal winger with unbelievable dribbling ability this summer transfer window, according to a recent report.

The Whites have been linked to a whole host of players over the last few weeks despite failing to gain promotion to the Premier League.

They’ll have to trade in the window to stay in line with Financial Fair Play regulations but it seems they’re hard at work on incoming to bolster Daniel Farke’s squad, too.

That said, another exciting winger has just been linked to Elland Road.

Leeds United interested in Couhaib Driouech

According to Eindhovens Dagblad, via Voetbal Zone, Leeds United have joined the race to sign Excelsior Rotterdam winger Couhaib Driouech, who has some of the best dribbling stats in Europe.

The 22-year-old wide player enjoyed a productive year in the Eredivisie, netting six times whilst laying on as many assists.

Driouech also scored twice and assisted another two in the Keuken Kampioen Play-Offs, which saw his side relegated to the second tier.

He’ll likely be wanting an exit this window and Leeds could be the perfect destination for him as they bid to return to the Premier League.

The Dutch side want around £3.3m for his signature, with his contract due to expire next year.

Leeds face competition

Leeds aren’t the only interested party in Driouech as 10 clubs are reportedly tracking him ahead of the window.

LaLiga giants Sevilla and Dutch champions PSV are the named potential suitors, who will provide The Whites with stiff competition.

Interestingly, Victor Orta, formerly of Leeds, is the sporting director at Sevilla, so perhaps he’s been monitoring him dating back to his time at Elland Road.
