Royce White — the Republican nominee for the U.S. Senate in Minnesota — is very angry that Keith Olbermann made fun of him for mistaking gun violence with water fountains.

"You pencil necked dweeb," White declared on X Wednesday. "Now you just look desperate."

This comment came in response to Olbermann, the former sports broadcaster and MSNBC anchor, declaring publicly his belief that White was a "f---ing idiot."

"I love this fool Royce 'My NBA career lasted eight minutes and 55 seconds' White," Olbermann wrote. "He is a geyser of material."

The geyser comment was a clear reference to White's recent social media gaffe that saw him raging against "out of control" crime in Minnesota while sharing a map of what was later revealed to be not gun shots, but water fountains.

Journalist Christopher Ingraham shared White's tweet and spurred an onslaught of mockery that saw followers calling White an "idiot" and White calling commenters "cucks."

White was nominated in May to challenge incumbent Sen. Amy Klobuchar despite scandals that include ties to conspiracy theorist Alex Jones and his complaints that women have become "too mouthy."

On Wednesday, it appeared the person White felt was "too mouthy" was Olbermann.

"I'm winning so much I might have to change my middle name to WINNING," White declared. "Where you at on drag strip shows for small children?"

White currently faces accusations he spent $1,200 in campaign cash at a Miami strip club in a single night.
