The two-time American League MVP finished 1-for-4 as the Dodger bats were kept quiet a day after exploding for five home runs among their 14 hits.
In other MLB action, Seiya Suzuki launched his eighth home run for the Chicago Cubs in a 4-3 comeback win over the Tampa Bay Rays.
Suzuki tied it 1-1 with his solo shot over center field in the top of the fourth at Tropicana Field. He also stole his fourth base in his 2-for-4 outing.
