According to Portal do Gremista, Newcastle United are ‘one of the most interested’ sides in Gremio youngster Nathan Fernandes.
The Brazilian outfit are demanding £16.9m for the 19-year-old wide player, who can operate off either flank and as a second striker.
It’s thought that a market specialist valued Fernandes at £6.7m but Gremio will remain firm in their stance as they are in no rush to sell.
The 2005-born signed a new deal last summer running until 2028, so they are in a strong negotiating position.
