Police in Kentucky have arrested the second set of missing 8-month-old Miya Tucker's grandparents as the search continues.
The new arrests come after five arrests made nearly a week ago, including the little girl's parents and other set of grandparents.
Taletha Tucker, 50, and David Tucker, 53, were booked in the Daviess County Detention Center in Owensboro, while the three other children are now in the custody of family services.
According to Kentucky State Police, they served a search warrant at the Tucker's home on Leitchfield Road but were unable to locate any evidence they could tie to Miya's case, even using cadaver dog teams to search the area.
Neighbors told WFIE-TV they saw authorities thoroughly examining the backyard.
"This is related to a missing kid, and you know, that's scary as hell because you never know who lives around here, what their intentions are, or anything else," said one resident.
"We have no evidence that it's the case that she's deceased, but we also don't have anything to suggest she's alive either," revealed Kentucky State Trooper Corey King.
"We've gotten little to no information from those who should know the most."
Miya, of Reynolds Station, Kentucky, has not been seen since the end of April, according to Kentucky State Police.
Police opened a missing child's investigation last Thursday after troopers failed to locate Miya during a welfare check.
Her parents, Tesla Tucker, 29, and Cage C. Rudd, 30, were arrested and each charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and abandonment of a minor.
Miya's paternal grandparents, Ricky and Billie Smith, were also arrested on a domestic violence warrant, as was Timothy Roach, an unrelated man taken into custody on drug allegations.
Police are combing through woods in the area for baby Miya and are planning to bring in specialized search equipment to the home she resided in with her parents.
