NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. \- The New Port Richey Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in identifying a suspect who allegedly stole a bank card and made $20,000 in unauthorized withdrawals.
On May 17, 2024, the suspect fraudulently ordered a replacement bank card for the victim's account. Surveillance footage shows the suspect intercepting the package moments after delivery at the victim's New Port Richey home.
Four unauthorized withdrawals totaling $20,000 were made several days later from the account.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6'3" and 200 lbs. He was seen arriving at the residence in a black Volkswagen, possibly a Jetta.
Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the suspect's identification and arrest.
Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS (8477), submit a tip online at www.crimestopperstb.com [invalid URL removed], or use the free Florida Crime Stoppers mobile app. Tips must be submitted through Crime Stoppers to be eligible for the cash reward.
The New Port Richey Police Department is actively investigating this case and encourages anyone with information to come forward.
