Florida Man Arrested After Forcing His Way Into Woman’s Home And Hugging Her

A 29-year-old Florida man was arrested Monday for breaking into a woman’s home and hugging her.

Nestor Miguel Zavala Zepeda, 29, was charged with battery and burglary, according to Monroe County Sheriff's Office.

The 21-year-old victim stated she found her neighbor, Zepeda, sitting on her front porch on Summerland Key at approximately 4:40 p.m.

Deputies say Zepeda stopped the victim from closing her front door, gained entry inside, and began hugging her without her consent.

She was able to get him out of her residence and call 911.

Zepeda attempted to gain re-entry to the victim’s residence until the Sheriff’s Office arrived.

He was detained and booked into the Monrow County Jail on a $20,000 bond.
