The transfer insider has reported that Luiz has agreed on personal terms with Juventus.

In return, Aston Villa are prepared to accept McKennie, Iling-Junior and a €20million (£17million) fee, added Romano.

The Italian also reported that McKennie likes Villa as a destination, but before the deal is sealed, he needs to clarify his exit details from Juve.

Aston Villa set to land talented Juventus duo Weston McKennie and Samuel Iling-Junior

With Aston Villa set to compete in the Champions League next term, it’s important for them to bolster their ranks.

Although it’s a shame that the Villans are set to lose Luiz, it will give them more leeway with regards to profit and sustainability rules.

In addition, Villa will also get two top talents in McKennie and Iling-Junior, which will go a long way towards bolstering their squad for next season.

McKennie has been deemed a “conqueror of balls” with “excellent skills in the construction of the game and with his head he is always dangerous on inactive balls.”

Meanwhile, Iling-Junior has been deemed ‘one of the most promising young footballers of his generation‘ and an ‘assist machine‘.

It looks as though things are heading in the right direction, so it may not be long before we get the all-important “here we go”.
