Russian army 'doesn't slow down' in Pokrovsk direction: General Staff describes situation on front

Since the beginning of the day, May 14, there have been 60 combat clashes on the front line. There are ongoing 11 clashes in the Pokrovsk direction, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Situation in directions

In the Kharkiv direction, the Russian army conducted an air strike on the area near Khutory in the Vovchansk district.

In the Kupiansk direction, Defense Forces repelled four Russian attacks. Another clash is ongoing near Petropavlivka.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy continues active operations. The number of clashes here has increased to six. Two more battles are ongoing near Hrekivka and Nevske.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the Russian forces attempted to advance in the areas of Bohdanivka and Andriivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy "doesn't slow down". 11 enemy assaults have been repelled since the beginning of the day. The same number is still ongoing. The enemy continues attacks near Umanske, Novoselivka Persha, in three locations near the village of Sokil, and six locations near Novooleksandrivka.

In the Vremivka direction, the enemy attacked with guided artillery shells towards Neskuchne and Urozhayne, and with unguided missiles towards Staromaiorske.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy shelled the areas of Pyatykhatky and Plavni.

Situation on the front

As noted by the General Staff in the previous summary, more than 60% of all clashes were recorded in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions today.
