Attack on Morozovsk airfield in Russia: Satellite images revealing aftermath

Last night, on June 14, drones attacked the Morozovsk airfield in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation. Satellite images of the aftermath of the strike have been posted online, according to the X account of military analyst Brady Afrik.

"The aftermath of Ukraine's recent strike on Morozovsk air base in Russia is visible in new satellite imagery. The base was last struck by Ukraine earlier this year in April," he noted.

Drone attack on Morozovsk on June 14

On the night of June 14, explosions were heard and a fire broke out in Morozovsk, Rostov region. Some residents experienced power outages.

Rostov Region Governor Vasily Golubev said that air defense forces had successfully repelled a massive UAV attack in the region.

A military airfield is located in the city, where Su-34, Su-24 and Su-24M fighters are based.

In April, the Security Service of Ukraine, together with the Defense Forces, attacked the Morozovsk airfield in Russia. At least 6 enemy aircraft were destroyed, and another 8 were significantly damaged.
