DUNEDIN, Fla. \- Pinellas County Sheriff's Office detectives are investigating a series of vehicle burglaries that occurred in the Dunedin area overnight on Wednesday, June 13th. Deputies responded to the Palm Boulevard and Edythe Drive neighborhood after receiving reports of over fifteen burglarized vehicles.
In each case, the targeted vehicles were left unlocked, allowing the suspects to easily access valuables such as cameras, pocketknives, and bank checks.
The suspects fled the scene before law enforcement arrived.

The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office urges residents to remain vigilant and take preventative measures to protect their belongings:
- Lock your vehicle doors: Always ensure your vehicle doors are locked, even when parked at home.
- Remove valuables: Do not leave valuables visible inside your vehicle. If you must store items in your car, place them in the trunk or out of sight.
- Secure firearms: If you need to keep a firearm in your vehicle, store it in a locked compartment and never leave it in your car overnight.
