In the Rostov region of the Russian Federation, for the second consecutive night, air defense forces and equipment have been active due to drone attacks. Explosions were heard in the area of Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, according to the governor of the Rostov region, Vasily Golubev.

According to the Russian official, during the drone attack, several UAVs were allegedly shot down. This occurred around 04:00 local time.

"The debris of the drones fell on the territory of the industrial site," he claims.

The governor adds that preliminarily, the glass was damaged in a non-residential building and that no one was injured.

Meanwhile, footage has been released online purportedly showing the moment when one of the drones flies over the city of Kamensk-Shakhtinsky.

Target may have been the Kamensky Combine

The city of Kamensk is home to the Kamensky Combine, which is considered one of the largest chemical plants in this region of the Russian Federation.

According to earlier reports in the media, as far back as 2011, the CIA indicated that this plant was involved in the production of composite fuel for rocket engines for solid-fuel RT-2 ballistic missiles, as well as the placement of test facilities.

It should be added that earlier, the Russian Telegram Channel Astra reported that in April, during a drone attack in the Rostov region, the building of the Kamensky Combine plant had already been damaged by drone strikes.

Drone attack in the Rostov region

It was also previously reported that last night, June 14, the authorities of the Rostov region also claimed drone attacks in the region. Reports indicated a night cotton in the city of Morozovsk, Rostov region, during a UAV attack, and air defense systems were activated, resulting in a fire and power outage in some houses. It is worth noting that this city is home to a military airfield where Su-34, Su-24, and Su-24M aircraft were stationed.

Later, the local governor, Golubev, reported that as a result of the UAV attack in the Morozovsk district, power supply was disrupted, and several settlements were affected by the blackout.

Later, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that allegedly 70 drones were shot down over the Rostov region.

After the night strike, satellite images emerged showing that all Russian fighters had disappeared from the Morozovsk airfield.

Later, it became known that the chief of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, Major General, Kyrylo Budanovv, informed The Warzone that about 70 drones were used to strike this Russian airbase.
