Nottingham Forest are now showing an interest in a player who could be set to leave Arsenal this summer.
With the summer window now open for business, Nuno Espirito Santo will be looking for Evangelos Marinakis to secure him some new additions.
Player sales will be on the mind at the City Ground with Forest needing to generate around £20m before 30 June to meet the PSR deadline.
But this is not stopping Forest from exploring deals for potential incomings with Che Adams believed to be right up there on their list of possible strikers.
It now seems as if they could even look to capitalise on the situation of a player who may well be looking to leave Arsenal over the coming weeks.

According to The Athletic, Reiss Nelson is has told Arsenal that he would like to consider any potential offers that may arrive for him this summer.
Despite signing a new deal with the Gunners just last summer, Nelson is now looking to find a club which could offer him more frequent minutes.
Forest are one of the Premier League sides who have been credited with interest by Ornstein with Crystal Palace, Fulham and West Ham also said to be keen.
Minutes have been extremely difficult to come by for Nelson under Mikel Arteta having only played a bit-part in Arsenal’s title charge last season.
Despite not playing a significant role in the Arsenal season, the Gunners are said to be looking for around £20m for the 24-year-old with Areta having hailed him as “important” to the media.
Arsenal also looking at Forest player this summer
Forest will be reluctant to lose any of their top players this summer with some impressive individual displays coming out of the 2023/24 campaign.
One player who Forest will certainly be keen to keep around st the City Ground is centre-back Murillo who only joined last summer.
It has now been claimed Arsenal’s sporting director Edu Gaspar is pushing to sign the Murillo this transfer window.
If this is the case, perhaps there could be a deal to be done with Arsenal for Nelson but surely Nuno would prefer to keep the defender at the club.
