Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of June 15

There have been 60 combat engagements in the front since the beginning of the day. Russians continue to put pressure in the Pokrovsk direction and also launched an unsuccessful attack in the Krynky area, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In the Kharkiv direction, Russians have already tried to advance five times today. Fighting continues in the area of Vovchansk. The enemy used multiple rocket launchers from the territory of Belgorod region in this area.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the total number of occupants' attempts to advance is currently three, and there are no active hostilities at the moment.

In the Pokrovsk direction, nine firefights continue in the areas of Novooleksandrivka, Kalynove and Novoselivka Persha. The enemy has tried to put pressure in this area 24 times today with the support of aviation, in particular, bombarding the areas of Novohrodivka, Oleksandropol, Myrne, Zhelanne, Yevhenivka, Novoselivka Persha and Karlivka with aerial vehicles. The sector remains the hottest.

In the Kurakhove direction, fighting continues in the area of Krasnohorivka. There have been seven combat engagements since the beginning of the day.

The enemy attempted to attack in the Vremivsk direction eight times. All attempts to improve their tactical position were unsuccessful.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the enemy attempted to attack in the vicinity of Krynky, but his attempt failed.

"The situation has not changed significantly in the rest of the sectors. Our troops are controlling the situation and depleting the aggressor's forces along the entire combat line," the General Staff noted.

Earlier, Ukraine's First Deputy Defense Minister Ivan Havryliuk told Western media that Russia's advantage in artillery at the front had decreased.
