In one of the hospitals in temporarily occupied Donetsk, a soldier's library has been opened. Its purpose is to instil a sense of belonging to Russian identity and heroes of the so-called SMO (special military operation) among the younger generation, according to the website of the National Resistance Center (NRC).

"In one of the hospitals in the temporarily occupied Donetsk, a soldier's library has been opened. The event, in the best Soviet traditions, was accompanied by solemn ceremonies and, of course, involving children. However, the heroes themselves were not observed at the event," the statement said.

The department noted that children are given the main task of filling the library's fund. And not because there is a lack of funds to purchase appropriate literature. The essence of the project is to instill a sense of belonging to Russian identity and heroes of the SMO among the younger generation.

"Of course, the thematic content of the book fund is exclusively about the exploits of grandfathers who fought and, of course, Russian classics. So far, they have collected two shelves of literature," the NRC added.

The British newspaper The Independent, in a special investigation, found out that Russian forces, after kidnapping Ukrainian children, offered them 100,000 rubles to move to Russian cities of their choice.

Earlier, it was reported that the White House has new and reliable information that Russia is posting questionnaires of abducted Ukrainian children on Russian adoption websites.
