‘Legend’… Amad Diallo spotted on holiday with three-time Premier League winner at Man City

Manchester United star Amad Diallo is enjoying his time off on holiday, where he has been spotted with a Manchester City ‘legend’.

Amad had a strange season at Manchester United. He began the 23/24 campaign with a bad knee injury, which kept him out for the entirety of 2023.

Then, even when he was available, he was not picked by Erik ten Hag, instead having to wait for his big chance in red – which ultimately came against Liverpool in the FA Cup.

And boy did he take it. Amad produced a moment that will go down in the club history as one of the most iconic cup moments ever, scoring a last-minute winner in a 4-3 thriller against their bitter rivals.

It was a goal that then went on to inspire the Red Devils to win the whole thing. As we all know Ten Hag’s Red Devils prevailed in the FA Cup Final against Manchester City.

Now, United fans are excited to see what’s next for Amad at Old Trafford. But, for now, he has a summer of rest – which he’s got stuck into already. He’s been spotted jet-skiing with a Manchester City legend.

Amad Diallo spotted with Yaya Toure on holiday

The Ivorian posted to his Instagram story on Sunday, which showed a video of the 21-year-old with fellow countryman, and Man City icon – Yaya Toure. The video was accompanied by the caption, ‘La Legende Yayous’.

That must be rather surreal for Amad. To be on holiday with arguably your country’s finest-ever footballer must be the stuff of dreams, even if he did cement his legacy at Manchester City, which included three Premier League titles.

What’s next for Amad Diallo at Manchester United?

Next season seems like a make-or-break for Diallo at Old Trafford. If he can get a consistent run of games under his belt, and impress – there may very well be a future for him.

He still hasn’t done enough to justify his price tag, but in all fairness, probably hasn’t been given the opportunities he necessarily deserves. Roll on the 24/25 campaign. It could be a big one for Amad.
