West Ham to intensify interest in Youssef En-Nesyri

According to GiveMeSport, West Ham are expected to intensify interest this week for Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri, who netted 20 times last term.

The ‘devastating’ number nine has been heavily linked with Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa in recent weeks but The Hammers are now keen to steal a march.

Hammers chiefs will first identify if Sevilla are willing to sell – which seems likely given En-Nesyri has a year left on his deal – and then they’ll check on the player side whether he’s keen on a move to the London Stadium.

After carrying out such due diligence, if all is well, they are expected to move quickly for the Morocco international to land his signature ahead of rival suitors.

Julen Lopetegui wants to reunite with Youssef En-Nesyri

Lopetegui and En-Nesyri worked together at Sevilla and it’s understood that The Hammers boss is keen on reuniting with him.

The former Wolves man is eager to add a striker to his ranks before pre-season begins, so a deal for the 27-year-old could move very quickly.

A telling few weeks await the club.
