This morning, June 17, there are seven Russian Federation ships in the Black and Azov Seas. Some of these vessels are carriers of Kalibr-type cruise missiles, posing a potential threat to Ukraine, according to the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to military reports as of 6:00 AM:
- In the Black Sea, there is one enemy ship equipped with Kalibr cruise missiles, with a total salvo of up to four missiles.
- In the Azov Sea, there are six enemy ships, three of which are equipped with Kalibr cruise missiles, with a total salvo of up to 24 missiles.
Additionally, the military reports one enemy ship in the Mediterranean Sea, which is equipped with Kalibr cruise missiles, with a total salvo of up to eight missiles.
Furthermore, over the past day, in the interests of Russia, the Kerch Strait passage was utilized by:
- Seven vessels entered the Black Sea, with two continuing toward the Bosphorus Strait;
- Three vessels entered the Azov Sea, with none coming from the Bosphorus Strait.
According to the General Staff of the AFU, Russian forces have significantly increased their efforts in the Pokrovsk direction over the past day. The number of clashes rose to 40, marking the highest figure since the beginning of June.
Previously, RBC-Ukraine reported that partisans from the ATES movement carried out sabotage at a railway junction near Smolensk in Russia. Specifically, one of the agents destroyed a relay cabinet.
