Ukrainian Defense Forces destroy 5 Russian boats in south

Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed five Russian boats in southern Ukraine over the day. In particular, the number of Russian personnel decreased by 111 people, according to a spokesperson for the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Dmytro Pletenchuk.

"Minus 5 Russian boats per day in the South. Hmm... Usually 1-2. Something must have gone wrong," Pletenchuk writes.

According to the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine, during the day there was also confirmation of a decrease in the number of Russian personnel by 111 people. In particular, the Russians lost 30 units of weapons and military equipment, namely:

  • 1 tank
  • 6 guns
  • 1 mortar
  • 16 armored vehicles
  • 5 boats
  • 1 ATV.

"An ammunition storage site and 5 observation posts were destroyed," the press service notes.

Russia's losses in war against Ukraine

Over the past day, June 12, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian army lost another 980 troops. In total, Russian losses since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine amount to 522,810 soldiers. Among them were destroyed:

  • 17 tanks
  • 34 artillery systems
  • over 20 armored combat vehicles and more.
