When Aston Villa target Federico Chiesa will make a decision on his future

Last summer, Villa were linked to Federico Chiesa, with Sky Italia reporting that the Villans were prepared to offer Juventus €60m for his services.

While the forward remained in Turin, Villa’s admiration has not gone away, with Tutto Juve mentioning the Midlands club’s interest only last week.

Several clubs are said to be eyeing the 26-year-old this summer however, Fabrizio Romano has now explained when those interested can expect to hear from the Italian.

The renowned journalist relayed that Chiesa’s agent and Juventus ‘have already decided’ to discuss the player’s future after the Euros.

It’s said that there are ‘no negotiations’ over a new deal at present, with Juve said to be ‘still open to proposals’ although no decision will be made until after the tournament.

After starting the Euros with a Man of the Match performance against Albania, many will be eyeing the Villa target, who could be available for around £25m this summer, as per CalcioMercato.

Villa must take advantage of Juventus stance on Chiesa

Juve need profit similarly to Villa, meaning a player as talented as Chiesa could be offloaded this summer.

That being said, the recent performances of the Italy international could tempt the Bianconeri into exploring a higher asking price or, a fresh contract, making Villa’s stance critical.

Micah Richards recently described the versatile forward as having ‘pace to burn’ whilst discussing Chisea on The Rest Is Football podcast, with his start to the Euros being something to admire.

Villa could take advantage of their relationship with Juventus based on the pending transfer of Luiz when exploring Chiesa, who could be captured for a bargain.

For now, all eyes will be on the Euros, as the Italy international looks to continue his fast start to the tournament amid speculation over his domestic future.
