EURO 2024 star winger seems destined to join West Ham after report's emphatic new claim

West Ham boss Julen Lopetegui is clearly prioritising his attacking ranks at the London Stadium this summer.

The West Ham manager has already brought Luis Guilherme to the club, but he’s clearly far from finished.

It’s obvious to see that Julen Lopetegui has a lot of work to do in the summer transfer window, considering the state of the squad left behind by David Moyes.

The Spaniard apparently wants to bring at least six new signings to the London Stadium before the start of the new season.

In my opinion, he’ll need to bring in more new players than that, if West Ham are to compete on all fronts next term.

Remember, up to 12 Hammers are being heavily linked with the exit door as well.

There will clearly be a big squad overhaul at the London Stadium this summer, and Lopetegui has obviously identified the attacking department as an area in particular need of attention.

Now it looks like another winger could be set to join the Hammers this summer…

EURO 2024 star winger seems destined to join West Ham

The Hammers fans will be keeping a very close eye on proceedings out in Germany this summer.

Not only to watch our own players in action, but to see some of the stars we’ve been linked with up close and personal.

Judging by the latest claim coming out of Portugal, one player in particular is destined to move to East London in the summer.

According to a report from A Bola, it is likely that Vitoria de Guimaraes winger Jota Silva will end up at West Ham this summer – a player who has allegedly already been offered to the East London outfit.

The attacker was in fine form out in Portugal last season, with 15 goals and seven assists to his name for Vitoria de Guimaraes.

He’s exactly what we need right now – a right-footed winger who plays out wide on the left.

The Portuguese ace possesses pace in abundance, a wicked shot and he has enviable technical ability.

Jota Silva is expected to play a key role for Portugal out in Germany at EURO 2024 this summer. If West Ham are to sign the 24-year-old, I would suggest that it would be a smart move to make a bid now, rather than to wait until the Euros are finished, when his fee may have gone up exponentially.
