Jennifer Lopez complicates divorce rumors with unexpected Ben Affleck post
Throwing a spanner in the works for those who were entirely convinced by the divorce rumors, JLo posted a loving message to her husband in celebration of Father’s Day on Sunday, June 16th 2024.
“Our hero,” she wrote on her Instagram story with a love heart emoji. “Happy Father’s Day!” This loving shout-out was accompanied by an old picture of the 51-year-old American actor in what appears to be the early 2000s, in the days of his Pearl Harbor stardom.
The couple tied the knot in 2022 but do not share children. JLo has twins, Max and Emme Muniz, with ex-husband Marc Anthony. They were born in 2008. Meanwhile, Ben has three children with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner; Violet Anne, Seraphina Rose, and Samuel.
Although JLo doesn’t have biological children with the Gone Girl star, he’s the stepfather to her two kids from her previous marriage, which ended in 2014.
People reports that, mere days before the Father’s Day post, JLo and Ben attended Samuel’s graduation party with Jennifer Garner, and they were both wearing their wedding rings. All in all, the post presented a way for the On The Floor singer to shut down further speculation surrounding her marriage.

Jennifer is still exhibiting her love for Ben in the public eye, but the cute Father’s Day post has only served to confuse some even more than they were already.
“Are they together or separated?” one asked in the replies when a picture of the post was reshared on Instagram. “I’m confused.” Some have said they’re obviously separated whereas others have argued they’re clearly together… yikes.
Some fans have commented on the reshared post calling it “damage control,” with one outright dismissing that they’re still together. “He’s not coming back sis,” they reacted. “Give it up.”
“Aren’t they divorcing?” is a question many have asked upon seeing the Father’s Day post, and to offer a prediction, fans will likely keep asking until both of them explicitly address the rumors.
