Red Lobster might shutter 3 more N.J. locations soon

At least three more Red Lobster locations throughout New Jersey are in danger of shutting down.

According to court filings obtained by NJ BIZ, the seafood chain identified at least 100 of its locations that could close if lease agreements for the properties could not be settled.

On that list, three of those locations that could close are in New Jersey.

Red Lobster Closing More N.J. Locations

The three additional locations that are possibly being closed in 2024 are the following:

Delran (3003 Route 130 S.)
Mays Landing (4411 Black Horse Pike)
Paramus (211 Route 17 S.)

Red Lobster already closed dozens of locations last month, including four in New Jersey (Ledgewood, Bridgewater, Lawrenceville and East Brunswick).

Just days later, the company filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy, announcing that it would be reducing the number of locations and selling off most of its assets to stay financially afloat.
