Arsenal have now ‘convinced’ Hale End talent to stay as Arteta summer transfer plan revealed

Arsenal have reportedly ‘convinced’ a Hale End talent to stay with the Gunners this summer with the north London side hatching a new transfer plan for the youngster.

The Premier League giants have seen a number of big-name players leave this summer after their contracts came to an end, namely Mohamed Elneny and Cedric Soares, with the two departures leaving a void of experience in the Arsenal first-team squad.

With the likes of Arthur Okonkwo already in talks to join a new team, those who have left Arsenal after their contracts have expired are seemingly putting in the work already to find a new home ahead of this summer’s pre-season.

And Arsenal have now managed to ensure that one Hale End talent remains in north London.

Karl Hein to sign new Arsenal contract with loan move in the works

According to the Athletic, 22-year-old goalkeeper Karl Hein has been ‘convincied’ to sign a new contract with Arsenal, with a loan move now expected to be identified for the Estonia international this summer.

Highly ratedby Arsenal’s coaching staff, Hein spent all of last season as Arsenal’s third-choice goalkeeper, with the Hale End prospect only ever making one senior appearance for the Gunners, coming in 2022 in a 3-1 League Cup loss to Brighton & Hove Albion.

As a result of such limited first-team experience, a loan move could be perfect for Hein this summer, with the 22-year-old in need of kicking on with his development if he’s to reach the heights some at Arsenal expect from the youngster.

Indeed, one appearance in two years shows just how unlikely Hein is to play next season for Arsenal, and in the coming weeks once the goalkeeper’s new contract is confirmed, the Gunners must do all they can to find the right loan move for the Estonian talent.

Arsenal have to find the perfect club to send Hein out on loan

Arsenal have found quite a good amount of success in recent windows in sending Hale End talents out on loan, with the aforementioned Okonkwo thriving at League Two side Wrexham this year, with Mika Biereth winning the Austrian Bundesliga with Sturm Graz.

And in Hein, Arsenal have to find the perfect club to send the goalkeeper to this summer, with Hein a player who has patiently waited for first-team opportunities at the Gunners with little success.

At 22, Hein has to be playing regular football at a top-level if he’s to reach his full potential, and Arsenal need to be smart with who they decide to loan out the Estonian to this summer, with the options limitless.
