Arsenal fans react as 24/25 Premier League fixtures announced, they're fuming about one thing

Arsenal fans are fuming about one thing after today’s announcement of the Premier League fixtures for the 2024/25 season.

The Gunners came close last year to winning the biggest prize in English football as Mikel Arteta’s side finished just two points off Manchester City in the Premier League standings, with the Gunners enjoying a record-breaking year.

With a big summer of spending on the cards, there’s real optimism around the Arsenal fanbase that the north London side will regroup this off-season and go for broke in the new campaign for the Premier League title, having not won it in 20 years.

Yet Arsenal fans are all saying the same thing about one aspect of the Gunners’ fixture list.

As you can expect, some Arsenal fans on social media were far from happy with this development.

One fan wrote: “Spurs away MW4, Champions League game, City away MW5. The need for a deeper squad just became even more apparent.”

Another supporter wrote: “We’d of played Man City, Spurs, Villa, Chelsea and Newcastle away all before the end of November, wow, we could be in for a dodgy start.”

Arsenal could benefit from tough Premier League start

Facing Villa, Tottenham and City is a tough way for Arsenal to begin the Premier League season, yet given how important form at the end of a campaign is, these games taking place at the start could be for the best.

The north London side will head into the new season as confident as ever about winning the Premier League, and good results early on against potential title contenders could give Arsenal the boost they need to finally go all the way under Arteta.
