Donald Trump riffs about washing his ‘beautiful’ hair in new speech
On Saturday, June 15th 2024, Donald gave a speech discussing energy efficiency standards in Detroit, Michigan. Taking place at a Turning Point Action convention conference, he told those in attendance he had “beautiful” hair.
“Do you ever go into a new home where you have a shower where the water doesn’t come out of the shower head?” he asked when talking about water pressure. “They put a restrictor on. I took all the restrictors off. I took them off.”
Met with a round of applause, he continued: “I’ve had the experience. I take a shower. I want that beautiful head of hair to be nice and wet. Lathered. I want it to be lathered beautifully. And I get the best stuff you can buy and I dump it all over and I’m… and then I turn on the water and the damn water drips out.”

The official X/Twitter account for Biden-Harris HQ shared the clip, in which he added “I can’t get this stuff out of my hair, it’s a horrible thing… No, it’s terrible.”
He proceeded to ramble on more about water not coming out of the faucet, his hands left waiting. “Isn’t that terrible?” he asked those in attendance.
Donald Trump is being mocked for ‘shower head drama’
In response to the viral speech, many have already come out and made fun of the spectacle.
“Genius-level stuff to discuss at a campaign rally!” one reacted sarcastically. “… Give us all a break. We need leadership that actually cares about something other than shower head drama! Meanwhile, Biden is out there talking about real issues…”
“Maybe he needs to pay his water bill,” another joked, adding: “My water pressure is great, just saying.”
Taking aim at his iconic look, one asked “This beautiful hair?” accompanied by an unflattering picture of the trademark blonde locks.
Some of the takeaways from the speech have been utterly scathing. On the other hand, some have defended the moment as being in good, lighthearted humor. “Donald Trump actually has humor!” one of his fans responded to the clip when shared by Biden-Harris HQ. “Joe Biden has none!”
