Florida Man Charged With Threat Of Mass Shooting At Synagogue Saying “I Want Hitler To Come Back”

A Florida man has been arrested and charged with making written threats to commit a mass shooting or act of terrorism, following antisemitic threats he posted on social media targeting a synagogue, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.

Paul Morris, 26, was taken into custody late Friday night and booked into the Palm Beach County Jail. The arrest came after concerned individuals reported the disturbing posts to authorities.

The content of the threats, as described in the arrest report, included explicit statements expressing a desire to harm Jewish people and carry out a mass shooting at a synagogue.

On Instagram, Morris said, "I want Hitler to come back to kill all the Jews.”

According to JNS.org, he allegedly said on Discord, “I’m shooting up a synagogue, yes all Jews,” and “If anyone is concerned about my well-being, this is where I am at: I want to scream ‘Kill all Jews’ at anyone I have ever known.”

Law enforcement officials have commended the individuals who reported the threats, highlighting the importance of community vigilance in preventing acts of violence.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is continuing its investigation into the matter.

Morris was held in the Palm Beach County Jail and released Tuesday to a treatment facility, according to court records.
